Martin Arnold were appointed on this new build residential development, consisting of 32 private ownership apartments.
Located beside the High Street of Sidcup, the development at Sidcup Library consists of 32 luxury apartments. The apartments each incorporate their own private balcony/ground floor patios.
The works involved the demolition of the former Sidcup Library and the design of a new modern structure, embracing 32 new homes.
Martin Arnold’s engagement at Sidcup Library consisted of Employer’s Agent, Clerk of Works and CDM Advisor from the commencement of the scheme through to completion.
Martin Arnold compiled the tender pack ahead of tendering to a number of competent contractors that we have worked with over the years. Once the tenders had been returned, Martin Arnold scrutinised each bid and advised our Client of the most appropriate Contractor for this project by way of a tender report.
Our role continued from pre-contract into the post-contract phase where we completed monthly valuations, monthly progress meetings, regular inspections and managed client related activities.
Quality of the construction was monitored throughout the project by our expert site inspectors who coordinated inspections through to handover, and issuing detailed reports along the way which highlighted quality of works on site, health and safety matters and a number of other key factors that required recording.
Martin Arnold played an integral part in delivery of this project to ensure the scheme delivered punctually and within budget.
