Health & Safety Advice

CDM Advice/Principal Designer

As members of both the RICS and the Association for Project Safety we have vast experience in advising clients, designers and principal contractors at all stages of a project’s lifecycle. 

As experienced health & safety professionals, registered CDMCs (CDM2007) and as Principal Designers (CDM2015), we are able to advise our clients on how to safely and swiftly discharge their duties under the Regulations. We have detailed and easy-to-use processes and documentation that ensure co-operation and co-ordination between all members of the project team to help deliver a safe project.

Fire Risk Assessments & Management

We are qualified as NEBOSH fire risk and safety management consultants and are affiliate members of the Institution of Fire Engineers. We review all proposals with fire safety in mind.

We provide a 'competent person' to undertake fire risk assessments to any building type, we can help preparing fire risk plans and advise on design, specification and cost of any passive and active fire protection measures required.

We also have an extensive list of suppliers and competent contractors whom we have built excellent working relationships with and whose procurement and management we can oversee on our client’s behalf.

Our service offers a 360˚ review of fire protection and safety from initial assessment through to completion of works, providing our clients with fully compliant premises.

Health & Safety Audits

We are experienced health & safety professionals with a background of inspecting and analysing on-site health & safety performance.  We adopt a collaborative approach, working with site teams to improve and maintain both processes and conditions on each specific site, to drive up KPIs and reduce the likelihood and severity of accidents.

Our audits are carried out electronically on site and are shared with the site team before being issued, so that the window of risk is minimised.  We adopt a traffic light system approach, which helps manage any identified risks in an easily digestible format, as we believe that keeping sites safe stems from keeping systems and processes simple to understand.

All technical team members of the Practice are CSCS registered and as members of the Association for Project Safety (APS) we are committed to on-site safety.

Resident Liaison Services

Since first introduced, this function has proved a much sought after service and has become an increasingly vital component of our business. Our resident managers and the team work closely with the client, to ensure the requirements of the resident are meet across all aspects of the project. A supportive, friendly and professional service that ensures the resident is kept fully aware of all issues relating to their home, affording them every respect and consideration, through consultation and understanding from commencement of works through to completion and beyond.  

Our resident liaison managers provide a balanced view and assess the demands and expectations of all parties involved. As customer satisfaction is at the heart of our business, we ensure that our resident liaison service offers an approachable, positive and professional attitude at all times. Attending regular site inspections and home visits our resident manager’s help to ensure that the job achieves the highest standards of resident satisfaction possible.
