Weekly site inspections and reports. Attendance at monthly client progress meetings, at 'countdown' meetings during the 12 week lead-in to handover and at handover. Snagging. Witnessing testing and demonstrations of M & E installations.
Comprehensive refurbishment of existing 19th century building to front of site plus construction of three storey brick and panel clad steel framed structure to provide SEN School for up to 80 pupils and 36 staff. For secondary school age pupils (11 to 16 years) pupils who experience social, emotional and behavioral difficulties (SEBD). Phase 2 to provide Gym extension; site clearance commenced Sep 2017 for completion Aug 2018.
Keeping client well informed on progress of works on site. Identification of quality control issues as they arise.
Relocating existing SEN school into temporary accomodation on part of the site and maintaining shared access road and footpath through site serving both the existing school and the adjacent St Margaret's-at-Cliffe Primary School.
Other facilities: Fully equipped catering kitchen and servery, teaching facilities including dedicated classrooms for food tech, science, design tech and art plus reception and admin support at ground floor level.
