Project Description

Forstal Lane is a flagship Joint-Venture scheme for Optivo, Lamborn Estates and Chartway Group; delivering 210 new build homes in the Kent countryside. The site delivers mixed tenure housing for the JV partners and, due to its sensitive, rural location, almost 40% of the site is preserved as green open space incorporating an orchard of new trees.

The success of the partnership is reflected in the delivery of the first phase of high-quality, generous family homes for open-market sale.

Added Value

Martin Arnold have ensured that the needs and goals of both stakeholders have been aligned throughout the project to make sure a collaborative spirit is upheld; overcoming the challenges of Covid-19 in 2020.

Martin Arnold helped to oversee the design co-ordination during the early phases of the project; ensuring that the approach was pragmatic and that all essential client requirements were addressed as part of the scheme design.

During the construction phase, Martin Arnold have led the administration of the build contract, and also acted in an advisory role in relation to matters and variations to the Framework Agreement to ensure a harmonious, ongoing commercial relationship between the partners.
