ISO Accreditations Renewal Success

Thursday 14th May 2020

We are delighted to have successfully concluded another year of audits for our ISO Accreditations with our auditors, the British Assessment Bureau.

This years audit was like no other before, not being able to welcome the auditor to our office to undertake the week long audit process, we developed a secure platform where the auditor was able to undertake the audit remotely during this period of lockdown.
The auditors were extremely complementary about our ability to facilitate this remote audit and allow them sufficient access to our systems and files to conduct the audits in full. We were well prepared and able to demonstrate the maintenance of the required performance standards which made the week long auditing process relatively seamless.

“Congratulations to the team at Martin Arnold Ltd for successfully renewing their ISO Certification for not just one, but four standards! This is no mean feat and any business that is able to achieve and maintain four UKAS accredited certificates is demonstrating in a very clear and public manner that they operate to the very highest of standards. The assessment was achieved in a fully remote manner, facilitated through video conferencing and Martin Arnold's secure online platform that enabled us to conduct a thorough audit. Well done to all involved in achieving this.”

ISO 27001
The ISO 27001 (ISMS) certification is our most recent accreditation which we have now successfully secured for the second year. This standard demonstrates our commitment to the security, confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information held and processed within our organisation.
ISMS (Information Security Management System) is a systematic approach to managing information so that it remains secure. We believe that in an age dominated by digital systems, with cyber-threats both known and unknown, this accreditation offers a great deal of reassurance to our clients that we safe-guard information in the correct manner.
ISO 9001
Martin Arnold has held ISO 9001 certification since our formation in 1999, demonstrating our commitment to quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.

The ISO 9001 is a Quality Management System (QMS) which demonstrates our commitment to providing an exemplary quality of service in meeting the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
ISO 14001
Martin Arnold have always taken its environmental impact seriously and in achieving ISO 14001 certification year on year, we can demonstrate a progressive plan and desire for ongoing improvement.
Our ISO 14001 certification demonstrates our commitment to reducing any undesirable impact our activities may have on the environment through the implementation of a robust Environmental Management System (EMS). This system allows us to gather, monitor and communicate environmentally relevant information. We use this data to continually refine and improve our organisational practices with the goal of reducing our impact on the environment.
OHSAS 18001
We hold certification for OHSAS 18001, an international occupational Health and Safety management system. This management system helps to minimise risk to our personnel on and off site. Because our industry demands the highest levels of Health and Safety in the workplace, this certification demonstrates our competence.

Forward Plan
Our commitment to continuous improvement allows us to build on our achievement year on year which is, in part, highlighted by our repeated success at securing ISO Certifications and other accreditations. This year we will transition from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001, the new standard for occupational health & safety.  ISO 45001:2018 brings some significant changes in concept and approach compared to OHSAS 18001, but we are well prepared and confident that we will achieve this.
