Our People

Stephen is a Chartered Building Surveyor who joined Martin Arnold in 2008 and became a Director in 2021. As Director, Stephen leads a team of Building Surveyors, Project Managers and Employer’s Agents.

Utilising his expert understanding of contractual mechanisms, Stephen leads on a range of residential and mixed-use projects delivered under both Traditional and Design & Build contract types. Stephen also leads on our Technical Due Diligence service, supporting clients at both the pre and post-planning stages to help manage and reduce risk.

Stephen balances his broad knowledge of early and later RIBA stages to ensure the design and project management of our clients’ buildings focusses on a whole-life approach, enabling practical construction and ease of maintenance. Stephen is also experienced in delivering exemplar low-energy and sustainable housing projects using specialist low-carbon technologies and sustainable construction solutions.
